Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Using a blender, blend chili, yogurt, ginger, water until smooth.
Add the rest of the ingredients and knead to get dough.
Adjust the flour to make smooth and pliable dough.
Apply oil on dough and rest for 30 minutes.
Apply little oil on your hands, divide dough into balls. Cover with a warm towel.
Meanwhile take each ball, roll out into 7 inch circles.
Heat a griddle, place the rolled out thepla and dab a little oil on it.
Cook on each side for 30 seconds until few brown spots appear on it.
Serve warm and fresh.
